The role
This role provides coordination technical IT support to the Envest businesses in relation to IT incidents and service requests. These services are provided to all locations in Australia and overseas operations as determined by the business.
* Provide L1/L2 IT support in relation to incidents and work requests.
* Ensure all incidents and requests are prioritised and actioned appropriately.
* Respond and resolve cases within agreed targets and SLAs.
* Perform and assist with major incidents, requests, and problems.
* Coordinate activities with end users to ensure a positive customer experience delivered.
* Help develop and maintain policy, standards, procedures, plans, supporting systems and process objectives.
* Assist and provide input with the business case development process.
* Assist with the improvement of Disaster Recovery and IT Service Continuity plans.
* Work direct and indirect support team members to solve BAU and Project activities.
* Work with strategic partners and ensure effective engagement, integration, and collaboration.
* Manage user access lifecycle.
* Provide user and device statistics required for forecasting license and hardware budgets.
* Undertake and assist with the completion of post-incident reviews for all priority incidents.
* Provide regular reporting of activity to management.
Technical Competencies
* Proven background configuring, supporting, and managing Windows environments.
* Ability to work as a member of a team and delivery consistent results even under low supervision.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Adherence to implemented guidelines and processes.
* Ability to analyse/solve problems and escalate as appropriate.
What You Will Bring
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in related discipline.
* Hold or have held relevant MCP or equivalent technical qualification
* Preferred exposure to financial services environment, particularly insurance broking
