The Role
We are looking for a motivated individual to provide exceptional administrative support, report production, and coordination for our medicolegal related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proofreading Medical Reports – Quality Assurance
* Producing high-quality medical reports through audio transcription
* Provide administrative and customer service support for tasks related to Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs)
* Invoicing
* Lease with Doctors in relation to their Medical Reports
* Liaise with the reporting team to ensure reports are completed within deadlines
* Maintain record systems and ensure they are up to date with all relevant information
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
* 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* The ability to manage competing priorities; adhere to deadlines and have strong attention to detail.
* Competency in the use of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Ability to work in a team environment or autonomously as required.
* A proactive approach to work, with a can-do attitude.
* Experience in a Medical Legal environment (WorkCover, insurance, fitness for duty assessments and legal independent examinations) is desirable but not essential.
* Familiarity with AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment 4th or 5th edition (or similar) is highly desirable but not essential.
