Qualifications and Skills Required
* Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
* Knowledge of vocational training and learning that informs their training and assessment
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
Candidates must also have one of the following qualifications:
* A four-year Bachelor of Education, with TESOL as a method
* An Undergraduate bachelor's degree plus a postgraduate TESOL qualification at AQF8 or above, such as Graduate Certificate in Education (TESOL), Graduate Diploma in TESOL etc.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare/print learning material and assessment tools according to the course's timetable
* Understand business processes and communicate with administration officers to develop training plans
* Monitor student progress and report to training administration officers
* Mentor and support students during the course
* Conduct training and assessment, mark assessments and visit/assess students in the workplace if required
* Treat students with respect, dignity and be responsive to their diverse needs
* Ensure consistent training and assessment according to AQTF Essential Standards & Conditions for Continuing Registration and VRQA Guidelines
