**Salary package**:$77,399 - $84,434 per annum plus 17% superannuation

**About Us**
The ANU College of Asia & the Pacific (CAP) leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region. The College hosts the largest number of regional experts and specialist academic programs in the English-speaking world, and plays a vital role in informing public policy and Australia's intellectual engagement with the societies, cultures and economies of Asia and the Pacific.

CAP is the centre of excellence for understanding human development and organisation in Asia and the Pacific, and addressing the cultural, economic, environmental, political and societal dimensions of global challenges.

The College currently hosts eleven Regional Institutes. These Institutes profile the College’s research and teaching activities on countries and regions of strategic significance to the university. The Regional Institutes facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration across ANU, and act as an entry point for external organisations seeking regional or country-specific expertise.

**The Chance**
We are seeking a Project Officer, Philippines Project to coordinate the efficient day-to-day operations of the Philippines Institute and provide administrative support to the operational activities of the Philippines Project. The position will report to the Manager, CAP Partnerships and Engagement and work closely with senior academics in the ANU Philippines Institute, and with external stakeholders; such as, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and partner organisations in the Philippines.

In this role you will coordinate key outreach events (eg conferences and seminars), administer a Visiting Fellows program (for Philippines researchers to come to ANU) and a research grants program (for ANU academics to undertake research in the Philippines), develop and update web and social media content, and provide project management support (including contributing to reports and budget management)..

To excel in this role, you will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and an ability to be proactive and work both independently and as part of a team.
