**Job Summary**
As a strategic leader in logistics management, you will oversee the daily support of a Defence communications system. This role involves supervising the movement, distribution, and storage of supplies and support materials.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead and direct materials planning, procurement, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport, and distribution.
* Monitor and report supply chain performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Maintain accurate inventory and transactional records for reporting purposes.
* Communicate with leadership regarding problems or issues impacting support objectives.
* Examine procedures to meet customer needs and streamline activities.
* Liaise with functional managers to integrate supply activities.
* Coordinate repairable item movement, including tracking and optimization.
* Record stock item movements and provide disposal recommendations.
* Procure, receive, store, issue, package, and ship materiel items.
* Monitor statistics and adapt to change.
* Conduct stocktaking and inventory management.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Integrated Supply Chain Management or related field with 2 years of Supply Chain experience, OR Associate's degree with 6 years of Supply Chain experience.
* Experience with materials planning/production scheduling processes.
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills for collaborative teamwork.
* Australian citizenship and active Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1) or previous clearance.
