Accounts Payable Officer
We are seeking a detail-driven Accounts Payable Officer to join a dynamic team.
This role offers variety, working across accounts payable, administration and support to project teams within the construction sector.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations while providing valuable support to wider business operations.
What you’ll be doing
- Processing and coding invoices, credit notes, and payments
- Completing supplier and subcontractor statement reconciliations
- Managing credit card reconciliations and expense claims
- Maintaining supplier registers and credit agreements
- Supporting finance and project teams with general administration tasks
- Assisting with accounts receivable and cash control when required
What we’re looking for
- Previous Accounts Payable experience, ideally within the construction industry
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Jobpac (highly regarded, but not essential)
- A proactive team player who is eager to learn and grow with the business
