You'll manage a diverse portfolio while acting as a trusted advisor to committees, leading meetings independently, and supporting the development of junior team members. The role balances operational excellence with strategic thinking and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of residential and mixed-use strata schemes, including large and complex buildings
* Independently chair and run AGMs, EGMs, and committee meetings
* Provide strategic advice to committees on compliance, governance, maintenance planning, and risk
* Oversee budgets, levy setting, and financial performance across schemes
* Handle escalated disputes, by-law breaches, and complex matters with professionalism
* Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, committees, suppliers, and stakeholders
* Mentor and support less experienced strata managers through informal coaching and leadership
* Ensure compliance with relevant strata legislation, agreements, and internal processes
Required Experience
* 4–8+ years' experience in strata management
* Current Class 2 Strata Licence (Class 1 highly regarded or willingness to obtain)
* Proven experience managing schemes of varying sizes, including large and complex portfolios
* Strong working knowledge of strata legislation and managing agency agreements
* Confident communicator with strong meeting facilitation skills
* Financially astute with experience managing budgets and forecasting
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
* Natural leader who enjoys supporting and guiding others
