JRM Resources are seeking experienced Site Supervisors to oversee civil construction projects including bulk and detailed earthworks, mobile plant utilisation, drainage, and environmental controls.

You will manage daily site operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, oversee machine productivity, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Roster: 14:7 or 5:2

Rate: $70 to $90 per hour (plus superannuation), dependent on experience

Camp accommodation provided

Suitable for residents of Western Australia as this is a DIDO role

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, support and supervise daily activities across site mobile plant and construction teams
* Coordinate and direct on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
* Responsible for effective machine utilisation and optimising machine productivity
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
* Identify and resolve any issues or risks that arise during construction, making decisions to keep projects on track
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Provide regular progress updates and reporting to project managers and other key stakeholders
* Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with procedures
* Schedule and allocate tasks, labour, and resources
* Identify and report hazards, issues, and maintenance requirements
* Working collaboratively with client and safety teams

About You:

* Significant experience (5+ years) as an Earthworks Site Supervisor or similar role in the civil construction industry
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
* Thorough understanding of construction processes, practices, and regulations, particularly in the earthworks and civil engineering domains
* Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges on site
* Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
* Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.

Mandatory Requirements:

* Section 26 Supervisor certification
* Valid Australian driver's license
* Must pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen
* Must have full working rights in Australia
* Construction White Card
