About the role
Join the dynamic team at North Coast Hotel Group on the Coffs coast NSW. As a key member of our culinary leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. These full-time positions offer the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and passion for exceptional hospitality. Both head chef and sous chef roles currently available at award winning venues The Park Beach "Hoey Moey" and The Coramba Hotel
What you'll be doing
* Manage and lead a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals
* Develop and implement creative and innovative menus that showcase seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
* Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
* Oversee the efficient operation of the kitchen, including budgeting, inventory management and roster planning
* Collaborate with the management team to enhance the overall dining experience
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment in the kitchen
What we're looking for
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior culinary leadership role
* Strong culinary expertise and a passion for producing high-quality, locally-inspired dishes
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen operations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
