The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an experienced individual to oversee the delivery of capital projects, including water and sewer project management activities, with a particular focus on monitoring quality standards and maintaining accurate records and associated documentation.
As a Project Officer Water and Sewer, you will undertake community consultation activities related to the planning and delivery of capital projects as required and provide support in the implementation of programs for planned annual infrastructure maintenance. You will monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and funding, and prepare project design, tender and contract documentation to support effective project delivery.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds diploma level qualification in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Recreation Planning or other relevant field (indicative), or relevant industry experience.
You will have the following skills and experience;
* Demonstrated high-level project management skills including the ability to work independently and to be able to complete multiple projects within budget and timeframes.
* Demonstrated thorough knowledge of budget and resource management processes.
* Demonstrated experience in managing and directing consultants, subcontractors and construction staff.
* Five (5) years recent relevant experience. (Indicative.)
Benefits
This is a fixed term full time position working 35 hours per week for a period of three (3) years.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $95,484.48 gross per annum, comprising of:
* $1,639.50 per week base salary
* $196.74 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
