West HQ is recruiting for a skilled and experienced IT Systems and Data Support Specialist to manage and secure our IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and data systems while delivering high-quality support and actionable business insights.
About the role:
This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, security, and performance of IT systems and data platforms across the precinct.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Maintain IT infrastructure security, performance, and availability.
- Manage WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, and network access controls.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure, AWS, and on-premises servers (AD, IIS, SQL).
- Aggregate and ingest data from multiple sources into a central database or data lake.
- Build dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Manage IT and telecom inventories and asset lifecycle.
- Provide Tier 2/3 user and system support.
About You:
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Cloud, Azure, AWS, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in data ingestion, transformation, and visualisation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- IT degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years in IT systems administration and data analytics.
- Relevant Microsoft or AWS certifications (desirable).
- A proactive, adaptable team player comfortable working across multiple IT functions.
