We're looking for a dependable Garage Door Service Technician to join our team You'll install, repair, service and maintain garage doors for homes and businesses. If you like hands-on work, solving problems, and helping customers, this job is for you
Garage doors are essential for homes and businesses, meaning steady work and consistent demand. We are looking for someone that is mechanically minded and enjoys working in a hands-on role.
Variety in Work – Every day brings new challenges, from repairs to installations and motor replacements, keeping the job interesting
Independence and Responsibility – Most days will see you working on your own – feeling a sense of ownership in your work and service to our customers.
Experience in the garage door industry is preferable, but not essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, service, and repair garage doors, openers, and related components
Perform routine maintenance and conduct our 10-point safety check
Communicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs
Assist with stock loading/unloading of spare parts and/or doors in the warehouse
Provide a high level of service to customers
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and follow safety processes
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including the company vehicle
YOUR SKILLS
Experience in garage door service, construction, mechanical repair, or a related field (preferred but not required)
Willingness to learn and work independently or as part of a team
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work on ladders
White Construction Card or ability to get one
A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening will be required
