We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality mechanical and fabrication projects.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000 per annum
Role: Full time
Location: Tamworth, NSW 2340
Main Duties:
· Manage the design and refinement of mechanical equipment, products, and systems, including blueprint creation and performance benchmarking.
· Develop and implement installation, modification, testing, and maintenance procedures in accordance with engineering principles and safety standards.
· Supervise fabrication, assembly, and production processes to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
· Oversee maintenance of plant structures and machinery, coordinating schedules and conducting regular inspections to ensure reliability and compliance.
· Analyse mechanical performance data, identify issues, and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency.
· Provide technical support and guidance to the design and production teams throughout project execution.
· Collaborate with management and clients to ensure design specifications meet functional and commercial requirements.
· Maintain detailed engineering documentation, reports, and records.
· Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality control standards in all engineering operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in fabrication, automotive, or manufacturing sectors.
· Proficiency in CAD and design software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
· High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
