Job Description An exciting opportunity has opened for an Assistant Product Manager to join the Consumer Charge Card Product Management Team. 2026 will yield an exciting chapter for the Consumer Charge portfolio, with a renewed product line strategy. Reporting into the Consumer Charge Card Product Manager, you will be responsible for representing the voice of the customer, supporting the delivery of an optimum value proposition, whilst concurrently delivering long-term product profitability and upholding our brand values. You'll form a key part of the International Card Services (ICS) Charge Cards, Insurance and Benefit Partnerships Team. Responsibilities Support the Product Manager on the execution of the consumer Charge Card product strategy. Support the Product manager and team Director on strategic initiatives to maximize the Product P&L through a combination of account growth and margin enhancement. Drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) and be proactive in protecting our brand. Manage and maintain strong relationships with third party vendors and partners, maximizing partner sourced value. Ensure high standard of product compliance, identifying and addressing any operational or regulatory risk. Conduct regular portfolio performance analysis across the card portfolio to identify profitable products and segments as well as identify untapped growth segments. Establish a strong customer management strategy and close effective partnership with our servicing and risk/credit teams. Partner with Premium Products COE (center of excellence) to both share and take best practices. Analyse market research and segmentation to assess customer attitudes to our products and potential for partnerships. Ongoing analysis and reporting of competitive trends, threats and opportunities. Liaise with the internal marketing teams regarding product positioning, promotions, and go to market execution of campaigns. Close working relationship with servicing teams across Card, Risk, Credit and Travel & Lifestyle ensuring premium customer experience. Qualifications Be a strategic thinker and self-starter with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills Have strong commercial acumen, including ability to identify and size business opportunities. Have proven project management experience with discipline to manage multiple projects running concurrently. Be a team player who is flexible and maintains a positive attitude even during changing work priorities. Have a track record of execution despite roadblocks Be analytically minded with the ability to turn data and research into actionable insights. Be a customer advocate with a pulse of trends shaping demand. Have a good understanding of Amex products and competitive landscape Have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence at all levels. Be motivated, resilient, results focus Have 5 years' experience in a Product or Marketing environment.
