The Role Mobile Test ‘n’ Cal is a division of the Trescal Australia Pty Ltd, the largest 3rd party calibration organisation in the world. This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Technician who enjoys travel, customer engagement, and professional growth. You’ll be the face of the business in South Australia, ensuring customers receive exceptional service leaving them with the best impression of the business. With regular interstate travel, you’ll help expand our reach while developing the potential to lead a key area of our South Australian operations supported by our BD And KAM teams. Responsibilities and Duties: • Perform calibrations, adjustments, repairs, traceable calibrations, and management systems for a wide range of clients within South Australia and Victoria. • Plan and install new instrumentation as required by customers • Maintain a high level of technical competency, ensuring that diagnosed and repaired instruments or systems can be returned to service with minimal disruption to customer processes • Take responsibility for tasks assigned and complete them within set timeframes with minimal supervision • Complete and present service & repair report within set timeframe • Liaise with customers and keep them informed regarding work progress • Accurately enter calibration data into relevant software to produce necessary documentation, certificates, and reports • Ensuring that delivery of documentation meets customer expectations and Trescal timelines • Follow Job Pack guidelines and prepare for job execution, including preparation of test equipment & tools • Maintain communications with co-ordinator and supervisor to ensure that jobs progress efficiently and safely • Act as the face of the business in SA, providing exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities for growth Key requirements: • Current drivers licence • White Card • Calibration experience or exposure in a maintenance or industrial environment would be highly regarded • A desire to grow within the company and become a leader What We Offer: • Competitive base salary plus super • Opportunities for training and professional development • Training will be initially conducted in VIC, with frequent travel between SA and VIC over a 6-month period (and compensated accordingly) Trescal is an Equal Opportunity Employer who values its employees.
