* Remuneration: $66,976.41 – $72,773.45 per annum + 12% super + salary packaging

About The Role

Care close to home – join a supportive rural hospital team making a real difference in the Gloucester community. As an Enrolled Nurse at Gloucester Soldiers Memorial Hospital (GSMH), you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a friendly and supportive rural hospital environment.

You'll primarily work on Roma Ward (14 acute beds), providing direct nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Depending on your skills and scope of practice, you may also assist in the Emergency Department (3 beds) or Day Surgery Unit (12 chairs) as required. This role offers the opportunity to broaden your clinical experience and contribute meaningfully to the health and wellbeing of your local community.

About Us

Gloucester Soldiers Memorial Hospital (GSMH) is part of the Rural and Regional Health Service within the Hunter New England Local Health District, proudly serving the people of the Gloucester region. Our facility includes 14 acute care beds on Roma Ward, 3 emergency unit beds and a 12‐chair day stay unit within the peri‐operative area. Our multidisciplinary team includes Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, General Practitioners, Visiting Medical Officers and Allied Health professionals, all working together to provide exceptional, holistic care.

You'll be supported every step of the way by your nursing and management team, including the Registered Nurses, Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Educator.

About You Responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills
* Self‐motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse
* Thrives in a team environment and takes pride in delivering safe, high‐quality patient care
* Adaptable, quick to learn and positively contribute to the team
* Experience in a similar rural hospital setting is an advantage (not required)

Additional Information

This is a Category A position. Applicants will be assessed against the essential requirements and selection criteria contained within the position description.
