Rigging Supervisor – Blast Furnace 6 Reline Project | Port Kembla Steelworks

Ventia is seeking a highly experiencedRigging Supervisorto oversee and coordinate all rigging and cranage activities for theBlast Furnace 6 Reline Projectat the iconicPort Kembla Steelworks.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your technical expertise and coordination skills will be key to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes across structural and mechanical works.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise rigging activities across steel erection and project works
* Manage rigging inspections, registers, and site-wide lifting gear
* Collaborate with other supervisors to achieve key rigging outcomes
* Develop and review Work Method Statements and Job Safety Analyses
* Supervise mechanical, structural, and project works
* Provide training and Verification of Competency for rigging teams
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for lifting equipment maintenance
* Audit rigging gear condition, storage, and spares
* Contribute to the development of rigging procedures and standards
* Identify and resolve issues in rigging processes and systems
What You'll Bring
* Advanced Rigging Certification
* Certificate III in Frontline Supervision
* Experience instructural and mechanical projectswith heavy lift expertise
* Strong understanding ofstructural drawingsand complex rigging scenarios
* Proven ability to lead, train, and support rigging teams
