Forensic Data Analyst
Ey professionals help organisations protect and restore enterprise reputation. As a Forensic Data Analyst, you will work across all areas of forensics including investigations, disputes and regulatory challenges across industries.
* Use advanced data analytic tools to generate insights that support fraud investigations, disputes and regulatory compliance challenges.
* Collaborate with the broader Forensics team to develop forensic procedures, define measurable data metrics and design investigative analyses.
* Extract, validate, transform and load high-volume structured and unstructured data from multiple data sources for deeper analysis.
* Develop algorithms, data mining and analytic solutions to assist clients with detecting fraud, bribery, corruption, irregular financial transactions and anomalous employee behaviour.
* Present analytical benefits clearly using visualisation software.
You will act in multi-disciplinary teams to transform and improve clients' businesses through analytics. To be successful, you must have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with proficiency in data manipulation languages such as SQL and statistical techniques (regression, clustering, etc.). Additionally, you should be able to hypothesise, analyse and draw conclusions from financial and operational data.
