**Grants Manager Role at Victoria Daly Regional Council**
Victoria Daly Regional Council is seeking a skilled Grants Manager to join our team in Katherine, NT. As a pivotal role in maximising revenue for the council through available funding sources and grants, this position requires a strong understanding of grant management and submission processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a strategic approach to grant funding applications, allocation, and management with the CEO, Directors, and Managers.
* Coordinate the development and compliance of grant contracts reporting schedules.
* Identify and assess potential grant funding and sponsorship opportunities, working closely with program managers to submit grant applications.
* Coordinate grant acquittals and liaise with external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Maintain accurate records of contracts, progress updates, and file notes.
* Collaborate with finance staff to ensure accurate funding provisions.
* Prepare regular reports on funding agreements, contracts, and project management plans for the council.
Requirements:
* Tertiary Diploma or equivalent experience in Contract Management, Accounting, or related discipline (desirable or work experience).
* High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to compile, write, and analyse reports.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
* Personal integrity and a strong work ethic.
* Previous experience working with Northern Territory and Commonwealth Government funding agencies.
