Are You the Right Fit?

We're looking for a registered pharmacist with experience in cancer services and/or clinical trials who is passionate about delivering high quality, patient centred care. You'll bring strong knowledge of investigational drug management and regulatory compliance, with the confidence to provide operational oversight that ensures staff are well trained, policies and legislation are adhered to, and safe medication management remains a priority.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organisational skills, enabling you to manage complex trial workflows and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. You're adaptable and willing to contribute across leadership, clinical and dispensary activities as required, playing an important role in delivering a comprehensive, outcome based and customer focused pharmacy service that makes a real difference for patients.

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

1. Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice.
2. Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team, including a record of participation in clinical meetings and medical rounds
3. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult effectively, advise and provide assistance to professional peers and other staff including computer literacy and ability to use health information systems
4. Demonstrated participation in development and review of medication and other related policies.
5. Demonstrated ability to actively participate in quality improvement programs as well as training and education experience.
6. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and adhere to deadlines with the proven ability to problem solve using initiative
7. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff in the delivery of high quality pharmacy service within a tertiary referral hospital
8. Extensive clinical pharmacy experience in cancer services and clinical trials at a tertiary referral hospital
