The semi-annual KPI appraisal aims to identify, monitor, and manage each employee's strengths and weaknesses for the purpose of professional development, operational efficiency, and profitability.
About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in: Designing electronic components, circuits and systems used for computer, communication and control systems, and other industrial applications Designing software, especially embedded software, to be used within such systems Developing apparatus and procedures to test electronic components, circuits and systems Supervising installation and commissioning of computer, communication and control systems, and ensuring proper control and protection methods, if required Establishing and monitoring performance and safety standards and procedures for operation, modification, maintenance and repair of such systems Designing communications bearers based on wired, optical fibre and wireless communication media Analysing communications traffic and level of service, and determining the type of installation, location, layout and transmission medium for communication systems Designing and developing signal processing algorithms and implementing these through appropriate choice of hardware and software Post project customer support Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering would be desirable Experience Proven experience in concept development, 3D design and detailing Familiarity with safety requirements of machine design High-level technical skills with demonstrated experience in commonly used 3D CAD software Sound knowledge of PLC's, sensors, pneumatics, servo motors, conveyors and robotic based automation systems Knowledge, or the ability to quickly gain knowledge in robotic based automation systems Be familiar with manufacturing practice and experience in automation and robotic design concepts Skills and Attributes Strong problem-solving and critical thinking Understands and manages external and internal customer expectations Excellent communicator with the ability to accurately and effectively convey information Self-motivated and proactive Strong work ethic with prioritisation, time-management and deadline achievement skills Team player Right to work in Australia How to submit an expression of interest?
