We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in providing care and support for individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Helping individuals achieve their goals through daily skills development such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting.
* Assisting with personal care, meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connections.
* Supporting daily activities like going for walks or accompanying appointments.
* Helping maintain connections with family, friends, and services.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be based in our Supported Independent Living homes, caring for disabled clients and providing daily personal care using manual handling tools. Ideal applicants will have a Cert 3 qualification and experience working in SIL home environments with complex behaviour.
Our rosters involve multiple overnight shifts per fortnight. You will receive comprehensive training, including induction, buddy shifts, and support from experienced leaders.
