KOTZUR Group of companies is a progressive engineering/fabrication business with over 140 employees based in Walla Walla NSW (30 minute drive from Albury) and 60 employees based in Toowoomba Qld.With clientele from all over Australia and overseas, we specialise in the provision of storage and handling facilities for bulk solids.We are seeking experienced First Class Welders to join our team at our Toowoomba manufacturing plant.Minimum Qualifications:Have successfully completed an AQF Qualification either a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or formal training that is comparable.Possess skills that are current to Australian industry standards demonstrated by 3 years full-time employment or equivalent part-time in the occupation.If you have obtained a qualification internationally or an Australian qualification that was not through the Australian Recognition of Learning process, you are required to demonstrate 3 years full-time or equivalent post-qualification experience.You have skills and experience to carry out the following range of duties:Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock.Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines.Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering.Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting.Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision.Finishing and cleaning products.Salary: Minimum annual salary of $76,000.Suitable applicants will be required to undergo a full pre-employment health assessment including a drug and alcohol screen.This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team that is passionate about delivering industry-leading solutions to Australian Agribusiness.If you believe you have the above attributes, please submit your resume via the Seek website, listing a minimum of 2 referees.Kotzur is an equal opportunity employer.
