Job Title: Operations Supervisor
Solid waste management requires careful planning and coordination. As a supervisor, you will oversee vehicle scheduling, logistics support, facility operations, and coordinated waste collection to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and performance standards.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based on site. You will be responsible for overseeing the logistics team, supervising daily operations, allocating tasks and drivers efficiently, conducting performance reviews, and troubleshooting operational issues.
You will also coordinate training and inductions, ensure new drivers are properly trained and documented, facilitate monthly safety meetings, and maintain driver certifications.
In addition, you will manage quarantine and controlled waste operations, including collections, disposal documentation, compliance audits, customer liaison, sampling coordination, and disposal applications.
Adherence to Workplace Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements is crucial. You will report any unsafe conditions and prepare reports using Google Suite.
The role requires a TAS Driver's Licence, previous relevant industry experience, proven ability to work in a team environment, strong time management skills, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to work unsupervised.
