Are you a skilled and passionate Radiographer ready to take the next step in your career? Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre is offering an exceptional opportunity for a Radiographer (Medical Radiation Scientist) Level 3 Grade 3 to join our specialist team.
As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that directly informs clinical decisions and improves patient outcomes. Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre is one of only two centres in NSW equipped with a dedicated Radiation Oncology MRI simulator. In this role, you'll be positioning and imaging patients for radiation therapy planning, assisting with contour delineation, and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. You'll also work closely with our Radiation Therapy team using two dedicated CT scanners, helping to ensure patient throughput and treatment planning precision.

What You'll Be Doing
The position is responsible for providing comprehensive tertiary and quaternary level specialist vascular ultrasound service, ensuring high quality of patient care. The position works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide accurate and high quality diagnostic vascular ultrasound services across Liverpool Hospital

Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, offering a wide range of state-wide services including critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care, and brain injury rehabilitation. As a key teaching facility for UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University, it provides extensive clinical services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health services. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and has a capacity for 877 beds.
The ongoing $830 million redevelopment as part of the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct is transforming the hospital into a global hub for medical innovation. This redevelopment will expand clinical services, enhance research and teaching facilities, and introduce state-of-the-art equipment and amenities.

* Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science, Science, Applied Science, or relevant health qualification, Post Graduate Qualification in Sonography recognised by ASAR, ASAR Accreditation, Current Authority to Practice as a Radiologist with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Current Radiation Control License (NSW EPA License)
* Extensive experience in ultrasound.
* Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience in teaching and research.
