We are seeking a Support Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily lives. As a Support Assistant, you will work independently and as part of a team to help participants complete tasks and achieve their goals.
Some key responsibilities include:
* Helping participants with paperwork and documentation
* Teaching and assisting participants with printing, scanning and phone usage
* Supporting participants in learning computer and internet skills
* Assisting with implementing household organization strategies
* Helping participants with meal preparation and cooking
* Accompanying participants on appointments and community outings as needed
This is a casual position working 12-15 hours per week, with a focus on day shifts. We require a minimum of 1 year experience as an NDIS Support Worker, and proficiency in Aussie English is essential.
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive car insurance, completed the NDIS Orientation Module and hold a current National Police Certificate, Working with Children Check and Driver Licence.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $35-$40 per hour, and successful applicants will be required to undergo a First Aid Certification check prior to commencement.
Please note that this position is for In Person work only, and we require all applicants to hold Australian Work Authorisation.
