Churches of Christ Queensland is seeking dedicated Environmental Service Workers to join our Fair Haven Service, a 78-bed Residential Aged Care home in Hervey Bay.
In this varied role, you'll support our kitchen team with food preparation and service, maintain clean dining spaces, and help ensure a safe, hygienic environment within and around the kitchen.
What You'll Be Doing
Assisting with food preparation and meal service
Setting up the dining room and supporting a positive mealtime experience
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
Ensuring safe food handling and hygiene procedures are followed
About You
You're passionate about food, teamwork, and serving your local community.
You will bring:
Experience in commercial food preparation, food service, and/or cleaning
Strong knowledge of safe food hygiene and kitchen safety
A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
Availability across day and afternoon shifts
Valid Australian work rights (We are unable to Sponsor candidates for this position)
