Reporting into Field Service Supervisor, the Field Service Heavy Diesel Mechanic will join our Regional Team on a FIFO basis at our Tom Price branch. This role involves carrying out warranty and customer repairs on a range of CAT machinery and associated products in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be required to carry out field service work on a regular basis based out of Tom Price Branch. The variety of equipment you will be working on includes D10 and D11 Dozers, 992 Wheel Loaders, 24M Graders, and a wide range of models of Off Highway Trucks (777F - 793F). This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety Department Overview: BHP Area C which is an iron ore mine located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, 120 km north-west of Newman operating since 2003 Roster: 14 On, 7 Off - Days 12 hrs/day OR 14 On, 14 Off - Days 12 hrs/day, OR 12 On, 9 Off - Days 12 hrs/day What You'll Do: Perform warranty and customer repairs on CAT machinery. Conduct regular field service work from Tom Price Branch. Work on equipment including Dozers, Loaders, Graders, and Trucks. Ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently in a team environment. Skills & Experience: Australian Recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post-trade experience Prior Field Service or Regional Minesite experience maintaining similar fleet type Truck Licence - Min.
