About the Role
We are seeking a skilled English language teacher to deliver programs and contribute to the development of quality learning, teaching and assessment.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching English to adult learners in Australia and hold relevant qualifications.
* Possession of a recognised undergraduate degree (preferably in Education or Training) and a Post Graduate Qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) is mandatory.
* The successful applicant will also possess well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, be able to demonstrate capacity for initiative, self-management, teamwork and sustainable practice.
* They will also have the ability to design and develop effective teaching and learning activities, as well as participate in continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach English language programs to adult learners in a classroom, workplace or online environment.
* Develop and implement assessment tools and processes that meet industry skills standards.
* Contribute to the planning, design, development, implementation and review of educational programs.
* Participate in professional learning activities to develop and maintain currency of personal and professional skills, knowledge and attitudes.
