Dining Experience Lead
The Restaurant Supervisor plays a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to patrons. This part-time position reports directly to the Restaurant Manager and offers opportunities for additional hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of restaurant staff to provide friendly, efficient service at a high standard
* Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to manage shift operations, ensuring cost-effective service without compromising customer satisfaction
* Act as the first point of contact for guests, providing excellent communication skills
* Work closely with the Kitchen team to ensure timely, high-quality service presentation is delivered to all customers
* Support the Restaurant Manager in staff engagement, motivation management, and rostering
* Monitor and control costs, labor wastage, and stock while maintaining service quality
* Ensure the safety and comfort of all persons, including patrons and staff, on premises
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a similar role or fast-paced restaurants
* Supervisory experience desired but not essential; candidates ready to take the next step in their careers will be considered
* Current RSA and RSG certification or willingness to obtain
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a hands-on team
* Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly
* Maintain high customer service standards through leading by example
* Knowledge and understanding of cash handling and food safety regulations
* Ability to work a range of shifts throughout a 7-day week roster, including weekends
