Childcare Worker - Assistant Educator Baynton WA 6714 Full-time
Salary: 70,000 - 80,000 AUD per annum

Our client, Child Campus Karratha, is currently seeking a passionate Childcare Worker / Assistant Educator to join their team.
About the Role: As a Childcare Worker, you will provide care and supervision for children in long day care and out-of-school-hours programs. You will support children's development, wellbeing, and learning in a safe and engaging environment.
Responsibilities
* Assisting in the preparation and organisation of materials and equipment for educational and recreational activities
* Supporting the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate programs
* Supervising children during indoor and outdoor play and recreational activities
* Assisting with daily routines, including meals, rest time, and transitions
* Maintaining hygiene standards, including supervising children's personal care and cleanliness
* Encouraging positive behaviour and guiding children's social and emotional development
* Entertaining and engaging children through reading, storytelling, games, and creative activities
* Ensuring the safety, health, and wellbeing of children at all times
* Supporting compliance with centre policies and relevant childcare regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
* ACECQA-approved qualification (Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care preferred or working towards)
* HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (or willingness to obtain)
* Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) and Police Check
* Right to work in Australia
