**Job Title:** Chief Operations Manager
Overview:
CSL Australia is seeking a permanent full-time Chief Engineer to join our transhipment vessel, the Donnacona. Reporting to the Master, this key role oversees the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard.
The Role Includes:
1. Safeguarding the overall operation, maintenance, and repair of all onboard equipment;
2. Supervising engineering officers while adhering to purchasing procedures;
3. Ensuring the safety of personnel and vessels at all times;
4. Collaborating with senior staff on cargo operations and trim management;
5. Maintaining accurate records and reports as necessary.
Requirements:
* A Master or Chief Engineer's Certificate of Competency (Class 1);
* Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar capacity;
* STCW III/2 and Work Safely at Heights certifications;
* Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) eligibility;
* Australian citizenship or unlimited working rights.
