We are currently seeking a full-time General Practitioner to join our dedicated clinical team on a permanent basis.
About the Role
This is a full-time position providing comprehensive general practice services across a diverse patient population. Key duties include:
* Providing high-quality, patient‑centred primary healthcare consultations
* Diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions
* Delivering preventive health care, health assessments, and immunisations
* Managing mental health presentations and coordinating care plans
* Ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations and referrals
* Completing relevant Medicare billing, clinical documentation, and reporting
* Participating in after‑hours on‑call arrangements as rostered
* Supporting the delivery of occupational health and employment medicals through our Emerald Employment Medicals (EEM) service
Skills & Experience Required
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognised in Australia
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), or eligibility to work towards fellowship
* Current, unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA), or eligibility for registration
* Eligible for a Medicare provider number
* Experience in general practice or strong clinical foundation suitable for primary care
* Competence in managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups
* Strong communication skills and commitment to patient‑centred care
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Understanding of Medicare compliance, clinical documentation, and practice management requirements
* Experience with occupational health / employment medicals is desirable but not essential
