Iolar Operational Services (IOS) is seeking to engage an experienced individual to work on an ad hoc basis as a Resource Recovery Centre Attendant at the six (6) Resource Recovery Centre (RRC) facilities on the Sunshine Coast. IOS manage and operate the resource recovery and bulk stockpile area of this site on behalf of Council.
Preferred skills include:
* Waste management experience is desirable.
* Workplace Health and Safety knowledge and experience in the implementation of system requirements.
* Computer/tablet and mobile phone literate.
* Good customer service and experience with dealing with challenging situations.
* Willingness and capability to work outside and undertake labouring activities.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel and work at all sites
Location: Multiple sites: Beerwah, Nambour, Witta, Yandina, Kenilworth, Mapleton & Nambour RRCs
Job Status: Casual.
Days of Work : Weekdays and weekends. Initially to cover holidays, sick leave etc.
* With the possibility of fixed days for the right candidate
Hours of Work: from 7.5 hours / day
Pay Rates: Weekdays from 36.70 / hr, with weekends starting from $46.98/hr (in accordance with the Waste Management Award and relevant classification).
Fixed Term Contract: fixed term, initially to 31st October 2026 (with the possibility of a 1 year extension)
