The location is ideally on the Gold Coast, near Robina Town Centre. Villa Serena provides high-quality aged care in a friendly, secure environment with amenities including a café, beauty spa, library and activities room.
Responsibilities
Putting equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping into the bus
Folding and unfolding mobility aids
Staying with residents to allow staff to attend to others
Engaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in the outing
Aiding residents with simple mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained)
Sharing with the Activities Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift a list of residents you have spoken to and topics discussed
Delivering a high level of customer service, including timely provision of agreed services to residents/clients and internal customers
Driving in accordance with road and safety requirements with due care at all times
Qualifications & Skills
Unrestricted Driver Licence (Mandatory)
LR class licence for driving buses (highly desirable)
Previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)
Ability to use computer software (Word and Excel)
NDIS Worker Check (valid within the last 5 years)
Covid vaccination evidence
2025 Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
