Job Purpose
To provide exceptional customer service and comprehensive maintenance services to the client and the contract. The role requires understanding procedures, processes, and operating them to the required standards. Minimum qualification: Certificate III in Air-conditioning & Refrigeration.
Quick Information
* On-site full-time at client's data center facilities
* Shift roster: 4 days on, 5 days off, 5 days on, 4 days off, 5 days on, covering annual and sick leave as required
* Site location: Ultimo, Sydney
* Relief technician mainly days, shifts from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm as needed
Responsibilities
1. Ensure maintenance activities are carried out with regard to health and safety, business risk, and uptime criteria
2. Maintain high standards of response to asset performance and troubleshooting
3. Perform routine preventative maintenance on HV and LV systems, HVAC, and associated equipment
4. Monitor BMS for system status and alarms
5. Conduct building walk-arounds, meter readings, and fault investigations
6. Prepare service and incident reports promptly
7. Ensure repairs comply with regulations
8. Assist with equipment installation and data capture
9. Participate in emergency call-out roster, including weekends and absences
10. Develop understanding of building infrastructure
11. Communicate effectively with team and clients
12. Manage contractors and maintain relationships
13. Support business continuity plans and ensure policy compliance
14. Manage tasks as directed by the client and escalate issues appropriately
15. Provide relief support to the Shift Lead as needed
People Management
* Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members

* Handle QHSE administrative tasks

Additional Requirements

* Current NSW Electrical or HVAC/Refrigeration License

* Experience with CMMS and BMS systems
