Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to support the finance function during the second half of the calendar year.
This role is critical in assisting with the year-end close process, external audit support, tax compliance, statutory reporting, and various group reporting and regulatory activities.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in financial reporting under IFRS, strong technical accounting skills, and the ability to coordinate across international finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in coordinating and compiling year-end external audit requests.
* Contribute to the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
* Liaise with external auditors as required to support timely and accurate audit completion.
Technical Accounting Adjustments
* Post fixed asset and related ledger adjustments following purchase price allocation (PPA) reviews for international entities.
* Support lease accounting entries and reconciliations under IFRS 16.
Tax Compliance & Reporting
* Support preparation of tax calculation workpapers, including accruals (incurred / not incurred analysis), fixed assets and transaction cost analysis.
* Assist in coordinating the preparation and posting of tax journals.
* Contribute to final review of Singapore tax returns and estimated tax calculations.
* Support responses to payroll tax investigation queries.
* Assist with joint venture tax return and related financial statement preparation.
* Support to clear historical GST/ BAS issues and other overdue items.
Regulatory & Statutory Reporting
* Coordinate deliverables and assist in reporting obligations under the Payment Times Reporting Scheme.
* Assist with compliance for Singapore local statutory audit, including financial statement preparation and submission support.
Banking & Internal Reporting
* Assist with monthly and quarterly bank reporting deliverables.
* Support preparation of consolidated monthly Board reporting package, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Contribute to marketing month-end reporting activities, including coordination with relevant departments.
R&D And Other Ad Hoc Projects
* Provide coordination and support for R&D tax incentive submissions and supporting documentation.
* Undertake additional tasks and finance projects as directed by the Group Financial Reporting Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in financial reporting or group accounting roles, preferably within multinational environments.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting principles.
* Experience with tax compliance, lease accounting, and statutory financial reporting.
* High proficiency in Excel; familiarity with group reporting tools (e.g., TM1, SAGE) is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and to tight deadlines.
