This elite group of consultants will work shoulder-to-shoulder with Defence science researchers to deliver mission-critical innovation, science and technology projects.
We are currently looking for Cloud Engineers to be responsible for undertaking the deployment, management and maintenance of a range of on-premise Cloud infrastructure.
Skills and Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years administering, managing and/or supporting more than one of the following:
- Strong experience managing hypervisor platforms
- Strongly developed skills in programming for automation: Knowledge of programming languages (like Python) for task automation and service manipulation.
- Strong understanding of network design and management principles in a cloud context
- Familiarity with DevOps practices for managing and deploying cloud applications
- Skills in implementing security controls and monitoring for threats in cloud environments
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a minimum Negative Vetting level 1, and there is a strong preference for NV 2 clearance.
- Experience within Commonwealth Government, Defence, or a scientific research organization is highly desirable
