About the Role
Are you passionate about hospitality and love creating memorable guest experiences? Mercure Kooindah Waters, located on the beautiful Central Coast, is seeking a friendly, qualified, and organised hotel Receptionist to join our front office team.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Handle reservations efficiently and accurately
- Manage check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries
- Handle phone, email, and online reservations using Accor systems
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and guest information
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness
- Process payments and issue invoices
- Assist with guest requests and provide local information
- Uphold Accor brand standards and ensure guest satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
What we’re looking for in a successful candidate:
- Previous experience in hotel reception or reservations (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Proficiency in hotel booking systems (Opera or similar)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A warm, welcoming attitude and professional presentation
- Availability for morning, evening, and weekend shifts
- Be part of a globally recognised hospitality brand
