About the role
The Medical Workforce Officer provides administrative and clerical support as part of the Medical Workforce Unit to facilitate efficient service delivery within Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD). The position works closely with the Medical Administration Manager, Director of Medical Services, Director of Pre-Vocational Training and medical staff.
You will join four existing staff in the Medical Administration Unit. The team are very collegiate and supportive, on job orientation and training will be provided. The role offers an excellent opportunity to support a key medical workforce, this provides an incredibly rewarding work experience.
Responsibilities
* Administrative and clerical support within the Medical Workforce Unit.
* Healthroster data entry and scheduling support.
* Support Junior Medical Officer wellbeing and address staffing issues.
* Attend and minute meetings.
* Assist with department accreditations and education programs.
* Act as key point of contact within the unit, managing work priorities independently in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Background in medical administration or related field.
* Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office.
* Good communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
* Experience or interest in rostering and health workforce scheduling.
