Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Electrical Supervisor to join our team on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance and repair activities within our mining operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a dedication to safety and efficiency. Length: 3-6 months Pay rate: negotiable – market rate Site: lake Wiluna Roster: Either 8/6 or 2/1 FIFO Scope of work: Pumps, Drainage, water storage (Water focused). Working with ponds Key Responsibilities: Supervise a team of electrical technicians and contractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate and prioritize electrical maintenance and repair tasks to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of electrical equipment and infrastructure. Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide technical support to resolve issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with other departments, including operations and engineering, to optimize productivity and minimize disruptions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory levels. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
