**The Role**
Reporting to the HR Manager this role will have a range of duties, responsibilities including:
- Provide advice and assistance in all generalist HR functions including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, industrial relations, performance management, learning and development, employee practices, grievances, policies, and procedures.
- Interpret industrial instruments and assist with employee relations matters,
- Provide effective administration support and prepare employment-related documentation
- Work collaboratively with managers and senior staff to understand their business requirements and deliver HR and workforce strategies that will meet long term operational objectives
- Maintain accurate HRIS data and prepare regular reports and statistics.
- Actively participate in performance management and disciplinary processes as required.
- Provide support in relation to workers compensation matters and assist with return-to-work co-ordination as required.
- Coordinate training and development programs.
- Assist with the management of work cover claims.
- Maintain and manage HR records and employee databases.
- Assist in preparing monthly reports.
- Provide support in implementing well-being and other HR initiatives.
**About You**
To be successful in securing this position, you will have the following:
- Experience with preparing employment-related documentation - contracts, letters
- Solid experience developing robust relationships with managers, senior staff
- Experience with mass recruitment
- Experience maintaining Recruitment Software and reporting - prepare reports and statistics
- Exposure and/or knowledge of HR and general administrative processes and protocols
- Experience assisting with work cover claims, workers compensation matters
