The Body Shop Australia is currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager. You'll be an inspirational leader with enthusiasm for our brand and belief in the way we do business. Current Salary Based on Store Grading: Assistant Manager Hobart: $61,000. Sunday to Thursday, 38hr Roster.
Your role in a nutshell:
As an Assistant Manager, with your high levels of enthusiasm for our brand and belief in the way we do business, you will share responsibility with the Store Manager to drive the store and team to deliver retail excellence and strong sales results.
Key duties of an Assistant Manager:
* Customer Experience – Coach the team to achieve exceptional customer service standards in partnership with the store manager. Oversee the operations and commercial practices of the store, both front and back of house, whilst maintaining harmony and efficiency on the shop floor. Lead and drive a customer‐focused store experience day‐to‐day, ensuring the development of consumer loyalty and awareness to build the Body Shop brand.
* Delivery – Retail‐related beauty expertise is highly desirable. Learn and use the internal systems, analyse performance, manage the commercial side of the store, and monitor and manage change. Control and meet sales/performance targets. Coordinate between customers, the team, and the manager, and possess full knowledge of the beauty market, competitors, and passion for the products.
* Teamwork and People Management – Be a team player, assist the Store Manager, and resolve issues quickly. Serve as a flexible and responsible role model capable of attracting, retaining, and growing people who reflect the brand.
