Ravenswood Gold is seeking a proactive and safety-focused Electrical Supervisor to join our maintenance team on an 8-day on/6-day off roster.
Nestled 120 km south of Townsville, in the vibrant landscapes of north-east Queensland, Ravenswood Gold Mine stands as a testament to both a rich legacy and the forefront of innovation. Ravenswood Gold is a private Australian company jointly owned by EMR Capital (EMR) and Golden Energy and Resources Limited (GEAR).
As an Electrical Supervisor, you’ll lead and support a high-performing electrical team responsible for the maintenance and statutory compliance of our fixed and mobile electrical assets across the mine site. You’ll play a pivotal role in scheduling, safety, and reliability, ensuring productivity while upholding site standards.
Key Responsibilities
* A strong commitment to safety and safe working practices is essential.
* Supervise daily electrical maintenance activities across plant and field assets.
* Coordinate preventive maintenance and statutory inspections.
* Lead pre-starts, toolbox talks, and ensure JSA and SWI compliance.
* Support and develop apprentices and tradespersons.
* Liaise with planning and stores to ensure the availability of critical spares.
* Monitor and report on downtime and electrical KPIs.
* Assist with capital project execution and asset commissioning.
* Adhere to all statutory responsibilities as detailed in current Acts, Regulations and Standards
About You
* Current QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence.
* S1, S2, S3 Supervisor Training.
* High Voltage Switching ticket.
* Low Voltage Rescue and CPR.
* Strong knowledge of Pronto (or similar CMMS).
* Sound leadership, planning, and communication skills.
* Experience with HV trucks, PLC/SCADA systems and fixed plant advantageous.
