About the role
As a Senior Accountant in our Business Advisory division, you will collaborate closely with Managers and Directors to deliver quality accounting, tax, and business advice to our clients. You will provide guidance and review the work of junior team members, playing a key role in fostering a high-performing environment and delivering exceptional outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships, including BAS for complex clients
* Preparing budgets, management accounts, and cash flow forecasts across various entity structures and industries, including participating in client meetings
* Producing financial reports using Xero and MYOB, and maintaining clients' accounting and reporting systems
* Coaching and developing junior team members
About you
The successful candidate will be a CA or CPA qualified accountant (or working towards), with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience within a public practice accounting firm. You will demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge, review work effectively, and provide quality solutions. Ideally, you will be driven, collaborative, and possess solid taxation knowledge.
You should be proactive, personable, detail-oriented, and have big plans for your future.
