Dietitian (Telehealth with Opportunity for In-Person Clinics)

Are you a motivated Dietitian looking to build a varied caseload with a high degree of autonomy, flexibility, and clinical depth?
This role will suit a clinician who brings strong initiative, self-direction, and confidence working independently, while still valuing the support of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
This position is primarily telehealth-based, with a preference for candidates located on, or able to work from, the Sunshine Coast to support in-person appointments as the service grows. Applications from other locations will be considered for the right candidate.
The caseload will initially include a high volume of Support at Home and aged care referrals, alongside opportunities to work with NDIS and broader community clients. There is also the opportunity to shape and grow your caseload in areas of specific clinical interest, supported by strong internal referral pathways and service development opportunities.
You will deliver evidence-based nutrition services across the lifespan, supporting individuals to achieve meaningful, practical, and sustainable health outcomes through personalised assessment, education, and intervention.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments considering medical history, goals, preferences, and lifestyle factors.
* Develop individualised nutrition and meal plans aligned with clinical needs, cultural considerations, and personal circumstances.
* Deliver one-on-one nutrition consultations via telehealth and in-clinic where required.
* Provide medical nutrition therapy for conditions including metabolic, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and weight-related concerns.
* Deliver education, motivation, and practical strategies to support sustainable behaviour change.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional and legislative requirements.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic, coordinated service delivery.
* Contribute to community education, service development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (Master's preferred).
* Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with current registration.
* Demonstrated ability to work with initiative, autonomy, and strong time management.
* Confidence delivering services via telehealth, with willingness to provide in-person services where required.
* Experience or interest in Support at Home, aged care, NDIS, and community-based practice.
* Current driver's licence.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check& WWC (or willingness to obtain).
* COVID and influenza vaccination evidence.
* Full working rights in Australia.
* Willingness to travel within and, on occasion, outside the Greater Brisbane and Sunshine Coast regions by mutual agreement.
