We are now looking for an experienced and forward‑thinking Corporate Secretary to facilitate and champion the corporate governance processes. The Role This is a great opportunity to be a key part of Western Australia’s largest general cargo Port, where you will facilitate the corporate governance processes. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring appropriate Board and Board Committee governance standards are implemented and maintained. You will ensure that the decisions of the Board are properly implemented. The Corporate Secretary will provide advice and support to the Board and Committees on governance matters including legislative compliance, communication, maintaining the Directors Register, reporting and meeting management (including minute taking). The Corporate Secretary reports to the Board of Directors and informs the CEO and the Chair on all Board governance matters on an equal basis. You will have experience in a governance related function and ideally will have experience performing company secretarial duties. You will be accomplished at building and maintaining trusted relationships and have well developed interpersonal skills. In addition, you will be able to draw upon your strong organisational skills to meet competing demands and business needs. You will be comfortable working autonomously and consistently exercise sound judgement.
