Our network spans 19 uniquely characterful properties across Australia – from the rooftop views of Sydney Harbour YHA to historic cells at Fremantle Prison to eco‐retreats nestled in National Parks.
We have opportunities at both our Sydney Harbour and Sydney Central properties for a Maintenance Officer.
What you'll get to do
You will work closely with the Property Manager and our Facilities/Maintenance team to ensure our properties are maintained and presented in the highest possible standard. This will include:
* Performing thorough weekly building and facility inspections (or daily inspections as requested)
* Liaising with the Property Manager, Maintenance and Building & Facilities Manager to initiate and schedule project works, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance
* Maintaining the swimming pool, including testing and dosing chemical levels (where applicable)
* Completing and maintaining inspection, safety, and maintenance reports and records
What we are looking for
* Proven experience in conducting, organising and coordinating maintenance activities
* Ideally trade qualified
* Strong organisational and time‐management abilities to handle multiple activities simultaneously
* Proficiency in using technology and maintenance systems
