Overview
Radiation Therapist positions available in Northern Tasmania offering a rewarding multidisciplinary environment. The role supports statewide brachytherapy, external beam radiotherapy and Varian planning on two Truebeam linacs.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planning and treatment of patients with x‐rays, electrons or sealed radiation sources as prescribed.
* Provide patient care, general and technical administration for radiotherapy services.
Qualifications
* Registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
* Maintain registration and licences in good standing at all times and notify the employer of any changes.
* Undergo required pre‐employment checks including convictions, identification and disciplinary action checks.
Salary and Benefits
Base salary: $85,011 – $127,700 per annum (based on experience). Market allowance: 10% of base salary. Superannuation: 12% on top of base salary and market allowance. Salary packaging: access to living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 for meal entertainment per FBT year.
