About the Role
As a Cleaner at Caboolture East State School, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Reporting to the Principal or a nominated delegate, you will ensure that all cleaning duties are performed to a high standard in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.
Key responsibilities include:
* Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, and common areas, including windows, furniture, and equipment.
* Maintaining toilet facilities and sick bays to ensure hygiene standards are met.
* Managing rubbish disposal, litter control, and cleaning outdoor surfaces.
* Performing floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing.
* Ensuring the security of the school by locking/unlocking buildings and managing security systems as required.
